Created vs Resolved gadget doesn't show expected data when the 'Display the Trend of Unresolved' option is enabled

Summary

When Display the Trend of Unresolved option in Created vs. Resolved Chart gadget is turned on, JIRA fails to render the unresolved trend chart and there is also a display issue for the original Created vs. Resolved Chart which could be a side effect of the problem.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install JIRA 7.4.0 and add a Created vs. Resolved Chart gadget to the dashboard.
2. Set Display the Trend of Unresolved to Yes and save the settings.

Expected Results

Actual Results

Follow JS errors are thrown in the browser console :

NOTE:

Additional Rendering issue occurs on page refresh when "Display the Trend of Unresolved" is set to Yes, the Gadget is collapsed making it not visible until the gadget is edited and saved again (No Changes necessary):

Workaround

No workaround at the moment except for turning the Display the Trend of Unresolved option off.
