Issue Summary
When a user goes to a dashboard and selects the ... to create a Sub-Task, the screen provided to the user though showing up as the create Sub Task screen contains the wrong issue type.
Also, when the user selects the option Create Linked Issues, nothing happens.
This issue is reproducible in a vanilla JIRA instance and has been tested on JIRA 7.2.7, 7.3.1, 7.3.0.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a test dashboard and add any gadget that allows you to modify an issue directly from it like the assigned to me or Filter Result.
- Create an issue and assign it to yourself (assuming we are using assigned to me gadget).
- Go to the dashboard.
- Press the ...
- Select Create Sub-Task.
- From the same same gadget.
- Press ...
- Select Create Linked Issues.
Expected Result
JIRA would show the Create subtask screen which should contain the correct issue types in the issue type field.
JIRA would be expected to show the create linked issue screen.
Actual Result
JIRA would show the create issue screen but instead of the expected issue types in the issue type field, it would be showing those for the regular Create issue screen.
Nothing happens.
Going by the guide, it states this should work from the Issue Page itself as specified here hence we would also need a clarification if this is a process problem.
