Description
NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a JIRA instance have more than 65000 issues with all worklog on each ticket before '2016-01-01'
- Go to the issue search page and run the JQL worklogDate < '2016-01-01'
Expected behaviour
It should show the result with all issue.
Actual behaviour
It gives an error on the UI:
An unknown error occurred while trying to perform a search.
The same issue reproduced with the clause worklogAuthor
Workaround solution
- With the bug https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-64315, it is still possible to use the lower case clause which is worklogdate and worklogauthor to get the output.
- Reduce search scope for worklogDate function so it return less then 65000 issues
