      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      It would be nice to be able to add additional status to the Epic Status system field so that users are not restricted to the default statuses. Currently, this is not possible because the Epic Status field is locked and Cloud users cannot unlock it.
