Description
I get an error when I start typing a name while editing contributors for some Apache project using JIRA. The list of contributors is very large, which is probably causing this effect. I can edit other role lists on the same page, so I'm assuming it's not a permission issue.
I get this on Firefox (the headers provided) and Chrome 50.0.2661.
The fix aside, I wonder if there's a workaround for this; the error dialogs can be silenced via the checkbox in both browsers; if I could just type usernames in the usual format with tilde or an @ that would work for me, but if I do that and hit update, the user is not added.
Request and response headers from the background calls made by the control; these happen every time one types something and result in the error dialog.
