      Problem Definition

      Searching for a value in fields with multiple values behaves in a way consistent with formal logic, but confusing for users relying on common sense.

      Suggest Solution

      We introduce a new contains operator for list/multi-valued types along with the existing = ,is and in operators. The contains operator has the same semantics as the in or = operator except when negated.

      Workaround

      There is no current workaround.
