    Description

      Summary

Some countries (e.g. Uruguay) have changed the daylight saving time definition.
We can update JAVA with the Timezone Updater tool provided by Oracle to correct these new definitions but JIRA doesn't take this changes into effect

      Environment

      • OS set to timezone GMT -3 Montevideo - Uruguay
      • JAVA updated with Timezone Updater tool
      • JIRA set to default timezone

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create and issue in JIRA

      Expected Results

      JIRA displays created date correctly

      Actual Results

JIRA displays created date as if user was in daylight saving time (+ 1 hour)
