Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
Problem Summary:
Customer would like to return a search result where the username is the same in both reporter and assignee fields.
Current Method:
You would have to search and enter the username matching them with an AND condition.
reporter = "username" AND assignee ="username"
Expected Method:
Add a condition that allows user to check directly if values between fields are the same.
reporter = assignee//allows user to get all issues where reporter is the same as assignee
Could be implemented for other user or group fields.
Why:
This helps ensure that the user does not need to search for each pair that match to get the results he wants in issue navigator.
