Unable to import projects from Mantis when using MySQL Driver 5.1.16

When JIRA Administrators use the MySQL Driver on version 5.1.16 they might face a known situation covered on this knowledge base article. The the solution is to edit the connection string in dbconfig.xml.

However when they are trying to do an import, it's not possible to make the same change.

The only available workaround is to replace the driver with an older version.
