Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
At the moment, Crowd in Cloud instances uses the same active database column as the Server installations. As a result, after importing the data into JIRA Cloud, inactive users end up stuck - they're displayed as "Inactive" in User Management, and cannot be reactivated other than with a manual database update by Atlassian Cloud Support.
It would be handy if the importer just automatically update all users to the active status, allowing the user to manage their access afterwards by revoking their Application Access (as described in the Cloud documentation: Deleting or Deactivating Users).
