      Hi,

      We have been transitioning our Jira integration scripts over to the new
      REST API, as Atlassian indicated that they will be phasing SOAP out in
      future releases.

      One feature that is sorely lacking in the REST API is the ability to
      make changes to a ticket without triggering email notifications:
