    Description

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      It would save a lot of time if administrators could simply download/upload the XML backup from/to JIRA's export/import folder.

      Currently administrators need to access the JIRA Server machine in order to copy the files when needed.

      Maybe JIRA could have an option to allow that feature in the UI or an extra parameter to jira-config.properties
