      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      We'd like to have a facility to upload Priority and Issue Type icons to JIRA, where they would be stored with the other Avatars, on the JIRA Home folder structure. This would allow custom icons to be persisted between upgrades.
      Images uploaded to the icons directory in JIRA (the current recommended way to include custom images) need to be manually migrated between upgrades.
