    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

As a user I want to have a list of all notifications available in a drop down/page so that I can see which user stories/bugs have been worked on across all the projects.

I envisage something like the facebook notifications menu in collaboration with the e-mails (which may or may not be active). As I open JIRA [in any project] I wish there to be an icon with a badge that shows the number of updates that have been made to anything I am related to (either reporter or assignee), clicking on the icon will reveal a drop down list, and there would be a link at the bottom to take me to a page displaying ALL my notifications (pagination may be required, notifications probably won't need to be kept for longer than two weeks?)

Attached screenshot shows the 'Open' state in Facebook.
