Improved reporting plugin with real printable reports

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Creation of a reporting engine with a steering plugin that gives access to all JIRA fields and custom fields. So the graphics on the dashboard can have more dimensions. It should as well provide a means to export to CSV / Excel to be able to create more complex graphics. See attachment.
      And one more point these reports should be printable. Yes, even today management insists on printed reports

            Due to the large volume of JIRA feature suggestions, we have to prioritise our development efforts. In part, that means concentrating on those issues that resonate the most with our users.

            I am writing this note to advise you, that we have decided to close your Suggestion as it has not gained traction on jira.atlassian.com.             JIRA PDF View Plugin has everything you look for, to transform JIRA into a full blown reporting engine:

            This is a commercially supported plugin. I'm a developer.

            As native JIRA reporting is a kind of restricted, Valiantys Corporation proposes the PowerReport plugin for JIRA which allows you to make powerfull reporting on all JIRA data !

            PowerReport uses the open source Eclipse-based reporting system BIRT to generate compelling and custom reports !

            Moreover, PowerReport allows you to export your reports in multiple formats : HTML, PDF, WORD and EXCEL.

            Check out eazyBI reporting application with standard JIRA integration (https://eazybi.com/help/jira). You can create reports, charts and dashboards using all standard JIRA fields as dimensions as well as use selected custom fields for selected projects. You can export any results to CSV and Excel as well.
