Description
Steps to reproduce:
- Set up Crowd
- Add "jira" as an application in Crowd
- Set up JIRA with a remote crowd directory pointing at Crowd
- Go to User Directories
- Click "synchronise" and wait until synchronisation finishes. Look at Crowd log to make sure something is happening.
- Click "synchronise" again and look at the Crowd log.
Expected result:
Synchronisation request should hit Crowd
Actual result:
No request hits Crowd
Perhaps the best way of seeing whether the request even hits Crowd is to now remove the "jira" application from Crowd. When you refresh the User Directory page and click "synchronise" you should see in the Crowd logs something like: "Application 'jira' failed authentication".
Workaround
The workaround is to ensure that you always refresh the page before hitting "synchronise".
