      I would like to a query similar to the following:

      project = P1 and reporter in membersOfRole("Developer")

      And it would return all tickets reported by people who are members of the "Developer" role in the project P1.

      I can see where it might be a bit hard if someone adds multiple projects, and John Smith is only a developer on P1, but reported a ticket on P2, and it would show that ticket in P2.

      The cavet in JRA-21476 about exposing too much about permissions, might apply here too.
