in certain scenarios it could be useful to limit the amount of time spent one can log on an issue (eg: max 8 hours per day) rather than accept any entered value.
For example, the worklog database table already contains timestamp columns that could be used to enforce limits on the aggregate value of the column timeworked when new data is added so that all entries regarding a particular time interval (a day or a week) doesn't exceed a threshold.
