If we are performing an Edit, Workflow Transition, Bulk Edit, or Bulk Workflow Transition then we need to validate the the selected issue type does not resolve to a different workflow or field configuration scheme than the issues original issue type. There is already a check for this in the code that generates the correct options for issue types and there are func tests for this. To be on the extra safe side we should validate the values before we store them. This is difficult to implement until JRA-10200 is fixed.
