Summary: Not possible to View the original start date value in the child workitem panel if multiple start date filed exist in the system

When there are multiple fields for the start date on your end, When you try to select the system start date field in the child work item panel, you are unable to retrieve the corresponding data due to the duplication of fields in the system.

We attempted to replicate the situation on our end by creating a custom start date field with the same name. However, when we tried to access the data in the child work item section, we could not locate the value of the system start date field. Once we deleted the custom field, the data became visible under the child work item panel.

Prior When 2 start date field is present  in the system with same name

As soon I delete the duplicate start field the data, original start date filed started visible in child work item panel:

Now coming to due date field.

If another due date field present in the system then in the child panel you will be able to see both due date field data. Please find below snapshot for your reference.

 

A similar scenario is not happening when we have multiple due date fields in the system. In the child work item panel, we are able to see the values of both of the due date fields, and it is not behaving as the start date does. 

Expected Result:

User should be able to view the data for multiple start date field along with the system start date field  in the child work item panel
