After the changes made on the status field location (https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-articles/Easier-status-updates-for-work-items/ba-p/3068881), the status field now is placed in a bad location that prevents working from the comments section, for example.
If there is a ticket with lots of information in the description or additional custom fields... we now have to scroll all the way back to the top to change the status. Or typically someone will say something in the comments like, OK to close, or please move to testings, then it must go back to the top of the page to change that.
Resolution Suggestion
It would be better for users to decide and configure where they want the status field to be placed, freely on the screen.
