Cannot link Confluence page to Subtask

      Issue Summary

      We are not seeing the "Link Confluence page" option from the "Link issue"  drop-down menu, when we try to access the sub-task via Project>Board>Issue>Subtask.

      However, the "Link confluence page" option is visible when the subtask is opened via board directly.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Login to Atlassian site and access Jira Core Classic software project
      2. Open an issue with the subtasks.
      3. Click on one of the subtask link
      4. When you try clicking the "Link Page" drop-down, you will not see "Link Confluence page" option.
      5. When you access board again and try accessing the subtask directly (not via main issue), the "Link Confluence page" is visible.

      Expected Results

      The "Link Confluence page" option should be available from all subtask board.

      Actual Results

      The below exception is thrown in the xxxxxxx.log file:

      Confluence link option is made visible

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available

            Thank you for raising this bug and bringing it to our attention.

            Within our company roadmap and work capacity, we try to address or review each bug request but admit that not each one will be resolved.

            To continue the culture of being honest and open, we are closing this bug to focus on our upcoming roadmap for all Jira users.
