Issue Summary

      When using a filter that will filter out all the issue in an epic (Epic is in cross project/same project), in the board settings when swimlane is selected as Epic, we see empty board rather than issues part of the Epic.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a filter which has a Epic link
      2. Create a board with the filter. 
      3. In the board settings, choose swimlanes as "Epic".
      4. You will see empty board.

      This occurs even if the filter has epics within the same project.

      Expected Results

      Epic name should be there is in the swimlane and the related child issues in the board.

      Actual Results

      Workaround

      To use other swimlanes instead of Epic

            I am not using the Cloud instance, however, this ticket best describes how to replicate the problem if you did have teams report persistence of issue JSWSERVER-11318 Stories from external epics disappear in swimlanes
