Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.
As described in the documentation Adding target dates, the live plans (or the old version of Portfolio) allows users to baseline a plan against target dates, and this feature isn't present in Advanced Roadmaps.

As an Advanced Roadmaps user, I want to be able to store an initial baseline to be able to compare at a future stage.
[JRACLOUD-88013] As an Advanced Roadmaps user, I want to be able to baseline a plan against target dates
+1. This is a critical feature.
As of today I literally have to maintain two plans (one for the baseline dates and another for the effective dates), and then split my screen in two horizontal sections to properly display them. This feel hack-ish as best.
+ 1 really needed! Compare graphically your current plan with your baseline.
this is going to be a big plus for Advanced Roadmap, we have to do too much manual workaround in order to keep baseline (created custom fields to record initial dates) and change start and due date, after you start priorities change, you shift tasks, but not possible to visualise what you planned v.s. actual
+1
I'm continuously getting asked by our project management community - for them, it is a highly desired functionality, especially if it comes to communiction with customers or senior management - and they are always very much disappointed, that such a basic functionality is not available.
Very necessary addition. Please prioritize. Even some Print to PDF of the entire plan would be helpful. I am senior Project Manager and yes your competitors trying to replace JIRA, have baselining.
This is a mandatory requirement - else will need to maintain this information out of Jira
While planning a project and mitigating its deviation this is a must and it sounds amazing that Atlassian removed this gold feature. Please put it back.
Please do this! Visual representation of project slip is insanely useful.
This is one of our selection criteria for choosing our go-forward roadmapping tool. Having it not be available as part of Jira's premium feature set would result in us staying at the standard level and opting for an add-on app, which I would greatly prefer not to have to do. Please consider this.
Upvote for this feature! I have several teams that save lots of time if this was available.
For our team we also desperately need it... It is hard to track planned schedule vs actual without this feature
This is a killer feature for us. Any tool we select will require this functionality.
This is a very basic feature that all roadmap tool should have, take a baseline of our plan / roadmap, and compare it to our actuals. Even better, allow us to take multiple snapshot / baseline
This is now becoming a critical feature needed, in our reporting to our executives .. we need to be able to capture baselines at critical times / milestones to allow us to track backwards from the current plan .. to help in identifying what has put us .. off track.
+1 to reintroducing this functionality. Rare when MS Project wins out on feature functionality.
This is a must in Project Management activities (planned vs current). Furthermore, I can't understand how a pre-existing and MUST feature was removed when transitioning from Jira Portfolio to Jira Advanced roadmaps
This feature is really intersting for our PMO teams which come from Microsoft plan and used to track the difference between Baseline/Target.
Upvoted too.
Thanks.

This looks like a feature that was previously available but no longer available. Is this a case where a regression test was not performed or was there a reason to remove the feature when Portfolio was rebranded to Advanced Roadmaps?
Upvoted this.
Customers want this but we as Partner cannot deliver, please implement.
