Atlassian update - August 2024

Thank you for raising and voting on this suggestion. Your feedback is invaluable in shaping and enhancing Jira for all users. Given the high volume of feature suggestions for Jira, we must prioritize those that provide the most value to the majority of our users. After a thorough review by the team, we have decided that we will not be able to implement this suggestion in the immediate future.

When deleting a sprint with issues that are active you might receive a "This issue cannot be edited because of its workflow status" If Enhanced Board and Backlog is turned off or a General Error "Something went wrong" with Enhanced Board and Backlog on and doesn't provide any real useful information. 

Would be nice if it had an error message relating to why the Sprint can't be deleted for instance if the "Closed" (green/last column) status has a property saying that once the issue is "closed" it cannot be reopened.
