      Hi all,

      I'm April, a product manager with Atlassian Teams 👋.

      I appreciate you sharing your insights and use cases regarding this topic around making the teams field required. We recognise the importance of this and plan to hopefully explore this further in the upcoming year. 

      I'm keeping this in the 'gathering interest' phase - it's not a part of our official roadmap and is still in the early stages but is something that is on our radar.

      Feel free to reach out in the comments if you have any questions about Teams. I will endeavour to provide an update next year on the status of this feature request.

      Problem Definition

      Currently, the Team field is locked and there is no possibility to make it required in the Field Configuration

      Suggested Solution

      Add the possibility to make the Team required

      Workaround

      Edit your workflow to add Field Required Validator
