The Team feature is exclusive to Advanced Roadmaps, and cannot be used in any other context but on the AR. Meanwhile, the filter permissions can only be applied to groups, users, and roles.

As a Jira admin/user, would be very useful to be able to set the filter permissions based on the Teams already created, this would avoid consuming more space with groups that are copies of the Teams.

Workaround

The only workaround for this situation is to create a group that replicates the Team (same users), but it would need to be done manually.
