Issue Summary
We noticed that sometimes the performance of this endpoint /rest/api/3/issue to create issues can be improved to reduce friction with other system integrations.
Steps to Reproduce
Make a POST request to "/rest/api/3/issue" on a site that has many integrations or other requests being processed.
Expected Results
The request should be processed within a few ms.
Actual Results
The request might take up a few seconds to be processed depending upon the environment complexity.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
