Using ` to create code blocks is erasing the first letter in Editor

      When using ` to create code blocks in the new editor, the block erases the first letter.

      Steps to Reproduce
      Add a description using the new editor;
      Type ` <put some information here> ` and press enter.
      Expected Results
      All the text will be surrounded by the code block.

      Actual Results
      The first letter will be erased, one quote will be placed outside the code block while the last one will be included in the code block.

            Hi everyone,

            Thank you for previously raising this bug and bringing it to our attention.

            Within our company roadmap and work capacity, we try to address or review each bug request but admit that not each one will be resolved. To continue the culture of being honest and open, we are closing this bug to focus on our upcoming roadmap for all Jira users.
