Enter key will close the date field instead of selecting a value in the new view

      Issue Summary

      You can navigate between the fields in the new view by using the Tab key, press space to
      "open" the field and then look for options. You can then press Enter to select a value.

      But, currently, when you press Enter in a date type field in the new view, the field will close instead of selecting the value you intended.

      Steps to Reproduce

      • While in the new view, use the Tab key to navigate to a date type field;
      • Press the Space key to open the field so it will display the date picker;
      • Press the Enter key on a date.

      Expected Results

      The date value will be applied to the field.

      Actual Results

      The field will only close itself, and no value will be applied.

      Workaround

      Manually select the desired value with the mouse.

            Hi everyone,

            Thank you for previously raising this bug and bringing it to our attention.

            Within our company roadmap and work capacity, we try to address or review each bug request but admit that not each one will be resolved. To continue the culture of being honest and open, we are closing this bug to focus on our upcoming roadmap for all Jira users.
