Add Support for Page up/down keys in the new issue view

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      If an issue in Jira (new view) is opened, there will be a scrollbar. I can scroll this issue up/down using the scrollbar, or using the trackpad on my laptop, but the page-up/page-down keys on my keyboard are completely ignored.

      The suggestion is to add support for these keys to allow scrolling through the issue.

            For everyone following this feature request, we are merging it with a previously reported bug report JRACLOUD-75167: Up/down and Pg Down/Up keys in the issue view don't work and will now be closing this one. We have already transferred your case to the bug report all you need to do is add yourselves as watchers in the bug report.

            This goes not only for PgUp and PgDn; same problem for ArrowUp, ArrowDn, Home, End and possibly other common keyboard navigation keys and combo's (like Ctrl-Home and such).

            Sorry for adding: It is clear that the New Issue View has not have any experienced productivity designers involved, this is not the only issue where common workflows were overlooked.
