Problem Definition

Currently, if you click on the Create Backup in Backup manager page for Jira, the backup will start generating immediately. Then, there will be a 48 hours timer to limit the frequency of backup.

Due to the backup timer is not shown on the UI, you have to click the Create Backup button to know whether the backup timer has finished, and if there is a timer, it'll have a message stating that the backup frequency is limited and the backup timer is there.

However, if the timer has finished, the backup still start again, causing the 48 hours timer to begin. This has caused users to unintentionally generate backup while trying to check the timer.

Suggested Solution

Provide a confirmation pop-up that shows whether the backup is ready to be generated again or there is a backup frequency going on without the trials and errors.
