    Description

      Description

      When adding users to a class project in Jira, if the user already belongs to the project, a message should appear next to their name.

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Add a user with a role to a project;
      2. Type the name of the same user, and add them to the list of users;

      Expected behavior

      Before clicking the button Add, a message should inform that the user already belongs to the project.

      Actual results

      There's an error on the UI informing that the user could not be added to the project.

      Why this is important

      When trying to add multiple people to a project, if you happen to add one user who is already an admin, none of the users will be added, and the attempt will fail. This can be frustrating when adding multiple users to a project.

      Workaround

      Instead of adding individual users, grant roles to groups.
