As a Jira admin, during the CSV External System Import to a team-managed project, the mapping of the "Issue Type" value and the "Story Point Estimate" value is not respected

Summary

• When importing a CSV file using the External System Importer:
  • specifically to a Next-Gen project
  • and more specifically when trying to map the "Issue Type" value and the "Story Point Estimate" value
  • the import finishes with a successful message,
  • however, all Jira issues gets imported as "Task" or "Story" so the issue type mapping is not respected
  • and, the "Story Point Estimate" value is not imported at all.
  • The import logs does not show any error related to this.

Environment

• Cloud;
• Next-Gen projects;

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a next-Gen project
2. Verify that all issue types are mapped to the project
3. Verify that "Story Point Estimate" field is among the fields of each issue type;
   • 
4. Go to CSV external system importer.
5. Ensure to map the "Issue Type" value and the "Story Point Estimate" value.
   • 

Expected Results

• Both fields get imported successfully and we can see that in the Jira issue view.
  • 

Actual Results

• "Story Point Estimate" field is not imported at all.
• And, issue type is set to "Task" or "Story".
