    Description

      Updated 18 January 2024

      Issue Summary

For team-managed projects, “status" field is shown in the same line as the Summary Backlog.

But in the company-managed project, we see “status” field on the second line & not against the summary.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Navigate to Board settings >> Card Layout
      2. Add field 'status' to card layout under Backlog.
      3. Navigate back to the backlog page & you would see status field in the second.

      Preferred Results

Fields added to the card layout should make use of the available horizontal space of cards view in company-managed backlogs.

      Actual Results

Fields added to the card layout are added to a new row and take up vertical space.

      Original description

      Board Settings>Card Layout>Backlog>Add Field Name

When fields are added to the card layout, they drop down to a second line making each project line double in size. There is room for this info to be displayed on one line but there is no functionality to force certain fields to the first line. The backlog view becomes really bulky and harder to navigate when the lines double in size.
