      The following syntax works:

      ![Any string](https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/bee-flower-27533578.jpg)

      There is an issue wherein the alt-text ("Any string" in the above example) is not being set. We are looking into fixing this issue.

      Problem Definition

      In the new issue view (using the new editor), users can't embed inline images using either the markdown or wiki markup syntax:

      Suggested Solution

      Add support for inline (embedded) images in the new editor

      Workaround 

      • Download the image and add it as an attachment.
      • Paste the image in the text field:
