      Problem Definition

      Customers would like the ability to convert an already established Independent Project (next-gen) to a Full Jira Software Project, and vice-versa

      Suggested Solution

      Include an option that converts the Independent Project to a Regular Jira Software Project

      Why this is important

      Customers may have started an Independent Project (next-gen) but as some functionality is not currently available (Estimation), they would need a way to change the Project Type so they could add Estimates/Time Tracking

      Workaround

      Create a New Project and Move the Issues from the Independent Project (next-gen) to the New
