      Problem Definition

      In certain cases, you might want to search for all issues with or without parent tasks.
      This can only be achieved with a third-party add-on like JQL Tricks in JIRA Server, with the function hasSubTasks()

      Suggested Solution

      Implement a JQL to search similar to hasSubTasks() for JIRA Cloud. Currently, the field 'subtasks' is not searchable, it is only sortable.

      Why this is important

      Certain customers need to find all the issues without parent tasks for tracking purposes.
