Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.
Issue summary
When a user accesses JIRA and while logging in selects the option to remember me, even if the user access JIRA everyday, the last login date fails to be updated and would refer to the day the user logged in and selected the remember me option.
This is expected begavior based on how this function is designed however, should the user need to disable users that have not logged in in a while or for taking reports of similar scenario, they would not be able to because the last date shown even in the database table is the day (s)he checked the option and logged in. Date only updated if user clears browser cache, logs in from a different browser, signs out of JIRA or deletes the login token.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open JIRA.
- Enter credentials, select the remember me option and login.
- Close the tab.
- Open a new tab and access JIRA again.
Expected Behavior
JIRA would launch and when it logs in using the token stored it would update the last login data in the database.
Actual Result
JIRA would login however, the last login data is not updated due to the remember me token taking effect and making JIRA assume inaccurate last time logged.
