I love the convenience of the Notification Drawer in Confluence. I can quickly see any updates before I get an email notification about them. I would love to have this feature available in Jira.
Since I am on the engineering team, I am in Jira about 90% of the time. I always have several tabs open with differnt agile boards and bug tickets. It would be awesome to have it available in the area that I frequent the most. It would also allow us to decrease the amount of email notifications that are sent out.

added a comment - This should not be closed. Email notifications are WAY too noisy and this needs to be addressed. Plus when an issues is closed it doesn't get the visibility for potential votes that it deserves.

Very convenient in Confluence. Very frustrating to find this is closed for JIRA when all I want to do is working in the browser and always see my notifications in JIRA instead having to switch between email.
