As a JIRA user, I would like to control the frequency that I receive email notifications.

      With the ability to update issues quickly from various views, it is really easy to generate a lot of changes in a short amount of time. The consequence of this is JIRA sends an email for each change.

      It would be desirable to only receive 1 email for changes that occurred on a particular issue in the last 10 minutes, or hour, etc.

      My thought on this is usually people will have a JIRA tab open all day, and the constant emails get a bit annoying.
