NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

This is now a Restricted Function. This can be a bit confusing because you are still allowed to export workflows.

            Hi everyone,

This is a duplicate of JRA-32353. They both have the same number of votes, but the description on the other issue is a bit more detailed, so I'm closing this issue in favor of that one.

            Thanks,
            Dave Meyer

Yes, I agree with Henrik on this. The correct label should be "Jira Lite: SaaS with limited functionality".

I agree, there doesn't appear to be any reason for this other than to try to push customers away from OnDemand. Atlassians SaaS effort appear to be half-hearted at best. It would make it easier to make buying decisions, if this was a matter of clear policy.

The advertising deceptively makes OnDemand appear equal to the download version, it would be better labeled "Jira Lite: SaaS, but with limited functionality".

Since it is possible to import workflows from the market, I am confused on the reasoning.
