      Atlassian Update - 19 March 2015

      Hi everyone,

      This is a routine update of this issue. We hope to address JIRA's notification system with more customizable notifications, but we do not currently have a timeframe of when this effort will begin. Please continue to pass along your suggestions for notifications.

      Currently, the notification schemes are pretty good - and cover what most people want.

      However, what would be very useful is to be able to define some rules for more complex notification schemes.

      For example, you may want to notify a particular group on a particular event based on some data in the issue - predicatable data like version, component, value of some custom field.

      Something like:

      CustomField.Location="London"
      Component="Workflow"
