Hi
Previously we had several notification schemes that sent out an email to an internal mail group on issue creation.
This allowed people without JIRA admin to configure who got the emails and saved having to create new users who in effect were just for emails, some of our notification schemes do just use groups.
However since upgrading to 3.2.2 + 3.2.3 the email is now longer issued.
Someone has already raised this as JSP-2144, but I'm unable to get to the call.
It was suggested that the email could not be sent because the email address needed to have browse permission to the project ( I'm quoting second hand so this wrong ) if the email is to be sent.
I have noticed that on the notifications page, for single email address it states
"Notifications will be sent only for public issues"
Does this mean that the functionality has changed between 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 ?
please could you tell me if this is a bug or a change in functionality and if so how to get around it ?
thanks
Huw Jones
