    Description

      In JIRA 3.2.1 the total issues count is broken. The following appears in the logs:
      ERROR [jira.issue.index.DefaultIndexManager] Error getting number of issues from database. Reindexing progress indicator will be incorrect

      Another effect of this error is that database statistics do not show up on the system info screen. This error is printed to the log
      whenever someone accesses the system info screen:

      [WARN] IteratorTag - -Value is null! Returning an empty set.
