- JIRA v1000.253.3
- JMWE v4.0.3-Cloud
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a new project
- Edit the Create issue transition by adding a post-function to it
- Select the Assign to Default Role Member post-function
- Pick any project Role
- Make sure the post-function appears in the list after the issue create action
- Go into System > Project Roles
- Add a user to the group as a default member
- Make sure the user has Assignable User permissions in the project
- Make sure the user is part of the specific role within the project
- Create a new ticket
Expected Results
The ticket should automatically assign to the default member of the project role you specified in the post-function
Actual Results
The ticket is created but the assignee is left as unassigned
Notes
It should be noticed that the JMWE add-on will be removed in September. More information can be found here:
