      Problem Definition

      Ability to create a Snapshot/baseline of JIRA at a certain point in time.

      Suggested Solution

      Jira should have feature that allows to create a snapshot type of backup for JIRA version, data, attachment and plugins that can be restored any time.
      For example let say We are running in JIRA version 7.0, we should able to create snapshot backup and when we are in version 7.1 we should be able to restore that snapshot backup so that we can run back in version 7.0 with all the plugins and attachment that was included in JIRA 7.0.
