Description
NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.
Summary
When you click on Issues the following entry is added to the logs:
2016-04-07 15:32:16,377 http-nio-8080-exec-25 WARN pcora 932x269x1 1cozpr3 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 /rest/api/1.0/menus/find_link [c.a.j.i.search.util.SearchPropertiesManager] Invalid filter ID in user preferences:
Steps to Reproduce
- Login to JIRA, click on Search for Issues and do nothing (don't search for any issues or choose a filter). You can click on an issue if the Issue Navigator had issues as this does not affects the bug.
- Logout and Login again and click on Issues. The log will get:
2016-04-07 15:32:16,377 http-nio-8080-exec-25 WARN pcora 932x269x1 1cozpr3 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 /rest/api/1.0/menus/find_link [c.a.j.i.search.util.SearchPropertiesManager] Invalid filter ID in user preferences:
Expected Results
Nothing is added to the logs.
Actual Results
The exception above is added to the logs.
Notes
It seems that when you click on Search for Issues the properties that store the Current Search are cleared and if you don't do a search or click on a filter, nothing will be recoded and the next time JIRA checks for it, the WARN will be thrown in the logs.
