Copy & paste multi line text to description or comment scrambles line breaks

Summary

Pasting multi line content from any source to a description or comment field adds or removes line breaks randomly. We're using IE 11.0.9600.18015. Other browsers are not affected. In addition only inline editing or commenting is affected by this bug. Pasting content to a description field in an overlay container (e.g. "Create Issue" not in a new browser tab or "Edit Issue") works fine.

Environment

• Cloud and Server using IE 11

Steps to Reproduce

1. Using IE 11
2. Add "Comment" to an issue
3. Copy and Paste a multi line text block

Expected Results

Formatting preserved

Actual Results

Line breaks will be added or removed randomly

Additional Testing on Windows 8.1 Enterprise with:

Works in Chrome and Firefox
