Created vs Resolved chart now consider createdDate to calculate for resolved issues

Created vs Resolved chart now consider createdDate to calculate for resolved issues. By using createdDate, the chart won't plot issues which created outside from the period(Days Previously) and resolved within the period. It will only have issues that are created and resolved within the set period of time.

      Previous behavior

The chart uses resolutionDate to chart for resolved issues count. Therefore, it will still shows for issues created outside the set period of time.

      Note

The chart will still show data based on previous behavior in Wallboard mode.

            Hi michaellampi,

This is already resolved in the JIRA Cloud production environment.

If you are still seeing this issue in your instance, could you please file a support request with us at https://support.atlassian.com as you could be facing a different issue to the one originally reported here and we will need to look into it in detail to understand root cause, etc...

            Thanks in advance

            Regards,

            Oswaldo Hernández.

So, when is this actually getting fixed and pushed out to the field?

Hi michelle.melancon, the fix won't be deployed today. This weeks release of JIRA 6.5-OD-04 has been pushed back until the next scheduled upgrade window, which would be next Monday the 25th of May.

that is 5 weeks total that is isnt working. I am getting a lot of heat around this issue. I see that a related bug is resolved. Can you please provide a better time frame for the fix for this getting pushed out?

dnavarro@atlassian.com yes it's this same bug. We have a fix now awaiting soak which means it should go out to Cloud in a deployment in the next 1-2 weeks. I'll post back here when I know the exact date this fix will roll out.

I was about to log an issue for this but then found this bug. I think it is the reason for the discrepancy I am seeing between the Created vs Resolved gadgets in JAC and EAC. Am I running into the issue described in this bug? Just want to be sure there's not another problem (or user error) lingering out there. http://screencast.com/t/G35KX9mowEao Thanks!

Affecting also the Created vs Resolved chart of iDempiere project.
            You can check here:
            https://idempiere.atlassian.net/secure/Dashboard.jspa
            Today is showing
            Resolved issues (24)
If I click on the last green circle it shows:
            Between 5 Apr and 5 May 2015
            24 resolved
if I click on "View in Issue Navigator"
the query shows 83 issue has been resolved, not 24.

I found this old advice on KB:
            https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Created+vs.+Resolved+chart+showing+incorrect+count+of+resolved+issues
But applied both resolutions there and none worked.

            Regards,

            Carlos Ruiz
